In my studio in Lanzarote
|
Images that bespeak words and hide a story
My art can be described as eclectic. I may be two or even three different artists. Sometimes there is a political message and motivation that push out the image. Sometimes I simply revel in colours and textures. Even so, there is usually a narrative behind my art works. I have been occupied for too many years with the Israel/Palestine situation. However, my subjects are diverse., Often works are expressions of feelings evoked a words from a poem. The work I produce in Lanzarote is much more influenced by the environment than is my UK art. I often use technology or digital techniques, which may serve to make images that I then translate into paintings, or I may produce purely digital art. Education BA Hons. Oxford University BA Hons.
